No. You will use your existing system to create invoice as per your current practice. JomeInvoice acts as a middleware that look for a triggering point (e.g. when new invoice is generated in your existing system), and capture the relevant field information from your invoice, convert it to the format required by LHDN, automatically send it to LHDN to get it validated.

JomeInvoice is a middleware that is flexible to connect to any of your existing invoice-issuing system. As long as the API key is available to us, we are able to link your various systems to JomeInvoice, and submit the invoice to LHDN MyInvoice portal.

  1. Technically you can connect your ERP directly to LHDN MyInvois System. However, there are many benefits using a middleware:
    Whenever there are any changes from LHDN system, we will handle all the heavy liftings to ensure ongoing 100 percent compliance, as compared to businesses keep amending the API themselves.
    JomeInvoice facilitates customers & vendors master data onboarding process by allowing businesses to send a link via email to their customers & vendors so that they can fill up all the required field, businesses only need to verify them before saving the information.
    There is also other value- added features such as auto-sending of validated invoices to customers, reminder on action required, approval workflows, audit trail, etc.

There is another value-added feature in this scenario. Without API, businesses is required to keep retrying to submit periodically until succesfful submission. JomeInvoice have a retry mechanism to keep submitting the invoice every few minutes, until successful. Besides that, there is a dashboard showing businesses the invoices that are still in queue for submission due to LHDN system down.

Instead of attaching the DO with normal invoice, businesses now need to attach the validated e-Invoice with the said DO. Since JomeInvoice is a cloud-based middleware, businesses can allow logistic staff to access to JomeInvoice to download the validated e-Invoice and print it anytime and anywhere. The rest of the current practice is expected to have minimum changes.
